Una red de casas encantadas

Esta obra fue realizada para el concurso de Fundalectura: Una Red de Casas Encantadas, basada en un escrito de la ganadora brasileña del premio Hans Christian Anderson: Ana Maria Machado. En su escrito hablaba de como ella cuando era niña era fascinada con la escritura infantil, y su libro favorito era el pajaro amarillo. Quise caricaturizar su rostro de fascinación, mientras veía mundos creados por libros, y como la imaginación le da vida real a los personajes. Fue ilustrado en Corel Draw, Photopaint y Photoshop.

This artpiece was done for the Fundalectura´s contest: A Net of Charmed Houses, based on the writtings of the brasilian winner of the Hans Christian Anderson: Ana Maria Machado. In her writtings she explained how she, as a young girl was fascinated by childrens books, and her favorite book was the yellow bird. I wanted to portrait her enthusiasm, as she saw worlds created by these books, and how the imagination gives the carachters real life. It was illustrated in Corel Draw, Photopaint and Photoshop.
